We’ve been to station 87 several times and recently did our wedding reception in the upstairs dining room. The service was amazing with no wait times for drink refills and food serving. The food was excellent and the chef rob had helped us create a custom menu. We were able to gluten free and vegan options included! Adam and Sarah went above and beyond to organize the event, and they did the set up and clean up the space for us so we didn’t need to. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of restaurant. We hope others can celebrate their weddings or special occasions there and enjoy it as much as we did!

We didn’t expect a three-alarm fire… but it was just before 8:00PM on a Monday evening… so who knows? Station 87 Kitchen and Bar was hopping in the main floor bar/pub section… quite quiet in the main dining room upstairs… we chose the Market Room in the back of the ground floor.. also pretty quiet. My girlfriend ordered the calamari, I chose the mega meatball, and we shared the Greek salad, the version that leaves out the lettuce and just heaps the plate high with feta, olives, red onions, etc, etc! The single meatball was huge! Moist, baked to perfection, and totally delightful! The few calamari I was able to snag were nice and crispy, drizzled with a super tasty sauce that was to die for! As usual, we drank only the local tap water… which tends to be our habit when the drive home is more than a couple of blocks! Also keeps the focus on the food and atmosphere… and keeps the price down! We explored the building, which is definitely a showcase for whoever did the renovations of the ole firehall! Beautifully done! Very tasteful, including the firefighter motif! Service was very attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed! We both agreed that we have to return in the warmer weather to experience the upstairs patio and its view of Georgian Bay and the Niagara Escarpment! Hummm… let’s do that just before sunset!

Great place with lots of space and roof top patio. The service is prompt, great and friendly. The food is average, still needs more flavor. During breakfast we were able to see too many flies around the tables in the kitchen area making it a little bit uncomfortable. The roof patio is great and fun place to have lunch, umbrellas available. Prices are fair.

The restaurant layout is gorgeous and atmosphere is really cozy. The staff were great, and it was really nice to see the camaraderie and teamwork aspect to serve all guests vs having to wait for your specific server. Food was delicious though could've gone for an appy had we known portion sizes. We didn't understand that the "dining vs bar vs market" had the dining room upstairs, and had requested dining room. Despite being the only guests to choose so, they still invited us to a private dining experience upstairs and would have served us there had we chosen so. That felt like VIP haha. We are glad we chose to come downstairs as we got to experience the "Cheers"-Like atmosphere watching staff hang with customers at the bar. The community vibes were on point. Love the open kitchen market concept will have to try that another time for some live cooking entertainment . Excellent customer service, will be back for sure!

Shared a birthday lunch here with my mom. We had delicious ginger apple mocktails, a Caesar salad and meatball sandwich. It didn’t disappoint but was expecting the meatball to be more of a sub than sandwich (oops!). Delicious flavors and ambience. Wonderful location!

Station 87… my wife and I came in Monday night for our 13 year anniversary! Yall did not disappoint! This was our first time here and it was absolutely amazing! The pink Sykes martini Is delicious! (Just wish it was bigger) We tried your Bruschetta Trio - flavour packed and delicious! My only comment, split each piece in half for easy sharing! For entrees my wife had the grilled Duck… it was a flavour punch and I’ve never seen her eat so fast haha! I had the 12oz NY steak…Steak (Med Rare)and potatoes were perfectly cooked, the grilled mushroom added the perfect compliment to the steak and potatoes. And finally desert… NY Cheesecake… the best NY style we have had! Next time we are in Meaford, we are ordering your pizzas to go! A+, 10/10, 100%

We ended up here somewhat unexpectedly and are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the staff couldn’t have been kinder or more welcoming. After a rather chaotic start to our trip, their warmth and attentiveness made such a difference. The food was fantastic ...fresh and beautifully prepared. I’m vegetarian and was so pleased to find thoughtful, flavourful options rather than the usual afterthoughts. Everything we ordered was excellent. The cocktails were equally impressive creative. We truly felt on vacation!. And as a bonus, the 90s playlist was absolutely spot on — just the right amount of nostalgia! In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we returned for lunch the day before we left the area. That probably says it all. Highly recommend — wonderful staff, delicious food, great music, and a lovely atmosphere

Just off the main street in Meaford is this converted fire station. TBH not sure where they parked the trucks, there are tables and a bar in the way. Nice patio upstairs with indoor dining on both upper and lower levels. Elevator available as well. Pub style food was good with good portions. I didn’t interrogate the menu, and we were out for a drive in the area and didn’t get a chance to learn a lot about the history of the station, but friendly staff and great views from the roof top. No pole to get back down that I saw. Will return.
